Our two older girls have been very lucky - we have a dear, dear friend who has volunteered to give them sewing lessons! Madilyn started a couple of years ago, and Megan finally got to start this year. It's amazing to see how quickly they are learning. They've made some wonderful things too! Let's see if I can remember them all - Maddie has made a dress w/ a vest, a pair of pj's, a sweatshirt, a quilt, a jewelry pouch, a stuffed bunny, and an apron ... Megan, so far, has made a jewelry pouch and is working on a quilt.
These pictures are from a sewing day they had a couple of weeks ago. As soon as we get unpacked (ha ha) I'll scan in a picture of their sewing teacher, Shirley. She is truly an angel!
